I'll admit, after .PuzzledHeartBox sent me the mention, I kept looking at this image for... two days... two days, multiple times.

What I personally love about it, is the detailing done on the back. The crystals (blue in color at that) with contrasting hues alongside the pale white of the protagonist, makes it something which did make me ponder about what you were implicating in this photograph. I'd appreciate your Point of View in this respect.

Me? What I got was an inner peace in numbness. Her face is one I've seen often when people are numb. The way the crystals are arranged makes it feel like butterflies are coming out of her body - from what I know of butterflies (particularly blue ones at that), is... they represent the messengers of life. Essentially, they are life's tools which pass on the fruit to whomever needs them. Basically, in your case, there is no life - the tools for passing life, are dead. The black marks on the back, as well as the continuous flow of the blue "wings" (now definitive wings, in comparison) means that you are on your own - you have this burden to bear by yourself.

Which is why her skin is white, and her hair is indescribably rich - because when death starts to take form, it has a haunting beauty portrayed so vividly, so... aesthetically... so hopelessly... that it scars us, when we realize it is meant to happen just as quickly, and just as easily.

I'll just quote ~L1m3rep on this one: l1m3rep.deviantart.com/art/The…

Guess that's all I have to say about this one. Cheers.
